I think the saying “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” is one that Caitlin and Matthias saw come into fruition. Though it wasn’t the day they had originally envisioned, their classy River Forest Country Club wedding was intimate and perfect on so many different levels. They knew they wanted to get married this year and that is exactly what they did!
This was such a special moment to witness between Caitlin and her mother. It always seems like it starts getting “real” as soon as the bride gets into her wedding gown.
The mother of the groom gave Caitlin this beautiful handkerchief with the initial “M” on it. I love little special details like these!
A little post-first look bubbly! What better way to celebrate?
Are you as obsessed with Caitlin’s red lipstick as I am? Lueur Beauti did such an incredible job with her bridal look. Look how well everything matched these blooms from Trablume Floral Studio.
After a few portraits, Caitlin did a first reveal with her father, another very special moment to see unfold.
Caitlin’s parents have been married for 40 years and Matthias’ parents have been married for 31, so these two definitely have some incredible role models to look up to when it comes to having a long, successful and happy marriage.
After the ceremony, we snuck away for a few “Just Married Husband and Wife Portraits”. Caitlin’s veil was what photographer dreams are made of. That baby FLEW!
